July 7, 2015 – San Diego, CA – The San Diego Foundation today announced the hire of Kelly Feuillet in the key leadership position of Director of Financial Reporting & Controller.
Feuillet will be responsible for The Foundation’s accounting, audit, tax and cash management activities. She will also supervise the accounting team and lead contingency plans designed to mitigate risk and ensure the accuracy of reported financial results. Most recently, Feuillet worked for Addleman & Associates, where she investigated and analyzed complex financial issues presented in litigation. She also brings expertise from her role as Accounting Manager at Scripps Health, where she was responsible for the accounting of five hospitals and 20+ clinics; and, Senior Accountant in a public accounting firm, providing auditing services for various industries and nonprofit organizations. Feuillet served in the US Navy, earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from San Diego State University, and holds an active CPA license in California.

On August 9, 2022, we awarded $838,704 in Opening the Outdoors grants to 24 nonprofit organizations that offer equitable access to outdoor spaces in San Diego County.
“San Diego Foundation is proud to once again support its partners committed to increasing community-driven efforts to enhance accessible outdoor space, encourage youth to learn more through hands-on education and create the next generation of environmental stewards in the San Diego region,” said Christiana DeBenedict, SDF Director of Environment Initiatives.
This year’s grantees will help address these inequities and enhance access to the outdoors throughout San Diego County.
