Community Scholarship Program
Since establishing our Community Scholarship Program in 1997, our generous scholarship donors have awarded nearly $40 million to more than 10,000 San Diego students who help fuel our local economy – making our program the largest private non-university scholarship provider in San Diego County.
Common Scholarship Application
The San Diego Foundation Common Scholarship Application provides students access to more than 100 scholarship opportunities with awards ranging from $1,000 to more than $5,000. Some scholarships can be renewed for multiple years to help offset the financial burden for a student’s entire undergraduate career.
The 2023-2024 Common Scholarship Application deadline has passed. Applicants will be notified by June 1, 2023.
Other SDF Scholarships
In addition to the Common Scholarship Application, we manage other SDF scholarships, each with their own application, set of criteria and deadline.
Several local organizations in San Diego County provide scholarship opportunities for students. Contact these organizations directly for more information.
