Although the deadline for the Common Scholarship Application has passed, scholarship application season hasn’t completely ended just yet.

Did you know that The San Diego Foundation partners with more than 15 organizations every year to offer students unique opportunities to finance their education?

While most of the scholarship application deadlines have passed, there are still three unique opportunities for San Diego students offered by our partners.

  • Marvin Arnold & Irene Jaquetta Heye Scholarship
    Deadline: Wednesday, March 25, 2015
    The Marvin Arnold and Irene Jaquetta Heye Scholarship provides financial assistance to graduating high school seniors planning to attend California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo or current students who are attending California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo.This scholarship may be renewable (dependent upon available funds) for up to four years of undergraduate work provided the student maintains a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, remains in good citizenship standing with the school, and has a financial need.For more information or to obtain a copy of the application and guidelines, contact The San Diego Foundation at scholarships@sdfoundation.org.
  • Pacific Beacon Scholarship
    Deadline: Wednesday, May 20, 2015
    The Pacific Beacon Scholarship Fund was established by Pacific Beacon, LLC and Clark Realty Capital to directly benefit the educational pursuits of active duty military residents in San Diego. This scholarship is made available through generous donations from Clark Cares and many of the local contractors and members of the local business community who helped build Pacific Beacon.The Pacific Beacon Scholarship is seeking applicants who demonstrate a formidable passion for post-secondary continuing education in the field of their choice. The fund provides tuition assistance and/or assistance with the cost of course materials (i.e. books, etc.) up to $1,500 per award. Scholarship awards must be used to pursue educational credits at a four-year university, community college or career/technical school in the United States in any field of study, regardless of the recipient’s United States Navy educational requirements.

  • Marjorie Rose Warren Scholarship
    Deadline: Friday, May 29, 2015
    The Marjorie Rose Warren Scholarship supports students at San Diego State University working towards their teaching credentials with plans to become public school teachers.
