November 15, 2016 – San Diego, CA – Oceanside Charitable Foundation (OCF), an affiliate of The San Diego Foundation, today announced its annual call for grant applications. In its 2017 grant cycle, OCF invites nonprofit organizations and agencies to submit project proposals that focus on “youth at risk.”

OCF will accept proposals that clearly identify the organization’s definition of “youth at risk” and explain how that definition was determined. Successful applications will clearly identify the cause(s) that place youth at risk and offer clear and precise programs for effecting change.

Eligible nonprofit organizations serving Oceanside may submit proposals at the following financial levels – $5,000; $10,000; $15,000; $20,000; $25,000. Additionally, projects should be practical, achievable within a 12-month time frame, and have prospects for long-term sustainability. Grant guidelines are available here.

The deadline for submissions is January 9, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. For more information about the application, contact Kerri Favela at kerri@sdfoundation.org.
