Purpose and Vision

We’ve partnered with The San Diego Foundation to create and sustain a local foundation to serve the community of Oceanside.

Our purpose is to meet emerging needs by encouraging and increasing responsible and effective philanthropy for all who live, work and play in Oceanside; build an Oceanside community endowment to provide funding annually to Oceanside organizations and causes; and give Oceanside community members a vehicle for legacy planning and gifts that will benefit Oceanside, now and forever.

The Matt McLaughlin Live Here, Give Here program supports membership dollars raised, growing Oceanside Community Foundation grantmaking from member contributions for our community.

2022-2023 Grant Cycle

As our children return to the school campus, we are seeing how much they have missed out on over the past months of being at home. There is a critical need for them to catch up and to move forward.

The Oceanside Community Foundation is seeking grant applications for academic and social development and enrichment programs that help students living in Oceanside in grades K-12 make up for lost time.

Deadline for application submission: December 6, 2021, 5:00 p.m. PST.
