November 15, 2016 – San Diego, CA – 4SRanch~Del Sur Community Foundation (4SCF), an affiliate of The San Diego Foundation, today announced its annual call for grant applications. In its 10th grant cycle, 4SCF invites nonprofit organizations and agencies to submit project proposals that enrich the 4SRanch and Del Sur youth communities and foster their growth so future generations become informed and well prepared citizens.

Projects can focus on a broad range of areas, including leadership and responsibility, environmental awareness, health and wellness, science and technology, arts and financial literacy. The goal is to engage youth in the community and develop in them a strong civic responsibility, building toward a future with heavy community involvement.

Eligible nonprofit organizations serving 4SRanch and Del Sur may submit proposals of $1,500 to $10,000. Additionally, projects should be practical, achievable within a 12-month time frame, and have prospects for long-term sustainability. Grant guidelines are available here.

The deadline for submissions is December 19 at 5:00 p.m. For more information about the application, contact Kerri Favela at kerri@sdfoundation.org.
