We’re a proud affiliate of The San Diego Foundation committed to our community through the financial support of nonprofit organizations, projects and programs dedicated to improving the lives of those who live, work and play in 4SRanch~Del Sur. We improve the quality of life and meet emerging needs in 4SRanch~Del Sur by increasing responsible and effective philanthropy; building a community endowment for the benefit of the region; providing funds annually to community organizations and causes, and giving the community a vehicle for legacy planning and gifts that will benefit 4SRanch~Del Sur, now and forever.

Become a Member

When you become a member of the 4SRanch~Del Sur Community Foundation, you make a difference for the causes you care about in this special community. Half of all membership dues go immediately to grant making efforts, while the other half goes into a permanent endowment to sustain future efforts for the good of the 4SRanch~Del Sur community.

Other member benefits include participating in grantmaking, board and/or committee leadership, attending events, and recognition in promotional materials. All members get one vote each year for the local grant applications they deem most worthy and valuable to 4SRanch~Del Sur.

2018 Grant Cycle
Health & Well Being

The 4SRanch~Del Sur Community Foundation (4SCF) is in its 11th grant cycle and invites San Diego County nonprofits serving and impacting the residents of 4SRanch and Del Sur Communities to apply for the 2018 grant cycle.

Focus Area

For this 2018 grant cycle, 4SCF will be accepting proposals for programs that address the health and/or well-being of individuals, families and neighborhoods in the 4SRanch and Del Sur communities.

Examples include: programs that address mental, physical and/or nutritional health of the general population or targeted groups such as children, seniors, veterans, low income and homeless.

Accepting requests in the range of $1,500 to $10,000.

The application deadline is Monday, January 8 at 5:00pm PST.

The 4SRanch~Del Sur Community Foundation celebrated its seventh year of grantmaking and awarded $25,315 to community groups. For the 2014-2015 grant cycle, the 4SRanch~Del Sur Community Foundation chose to focus on projects that build community leadership and involvement, while meeting a timely need for a technology or arts and culture need. Thanks to the Matt McLaughlin Live Here, Give Here Matching Program, the 4SCF was able to double its grantmaking this year.
