Sara Graef, CAP

Manager, Executive Office & Board Relations

Sara serves as the Executive Office and Board Relations Manager at, where she oversees executive office operations and provides high-level administrative and strategic support to the President & CEO, executive leadership team, and the Board of Governors. In this role, she also manages executive office budget tracking and serves as a trusted resource and mentor to SDF’s growing administrative support team.

Sara has been with San Diego Foundation since 2019 and brings more than 20 years of experience as an administrative professional, with deep expertise in organizational effectiveness, executive support, and governance operations. She is a Certified Administrative Professional through the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) and holds additional certifications in organizational management, technology applications, and meeting and event planning.

Committed to professional development and community engagement, Sara is a past president of the San Diego Chapter of Executive Women International. She values the organization’s focus on networking, education, and philanthropic service, which aligns closely with her passion for building strong professional communities and supporting mission-driven work through San Diego Foundation.
