Director, Development

As Director of Development at San Diego Foundation, Nicole focuses on engaging fund holders and their families, as well as the next generation of philanthropists. Her work includes establishing donor-advised funds (DAFs), developing high-impact giving strategies, supporting legacy planning, and partnering closely with program and impact teams to help fund holders achieve their philanthropic goals.

She began her career with AmeriCorps and later spent more than a decade in London, where she led the Philanthropy Team at UNICEF and worked with The Prince and Princess of Wales and Prince Harry to support the growth of The Royal Foundation.

She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Politics and Film and Digital Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a double master’s degree in International Economics from University College London, where she graduated with distinction.

A fourth-generation San Diegan, Nicole cares deeply about the local community, particularly North County, where she lives with her husband and son.
