Melisa Zarate

Melisa Zarate is a Vice President at CBRE Investment Banking, focused on real estate and real assets equity placement, capital sourcing strategies, and vehicle structuring. Prior to CBRE, Melisa was a Senior Associate on the Pan-Alts team at Aksia, where she specialized in portfolio construction and manager selection, providing customized investment recommendations and ongoing portfolio updates for alternative investment programs across the Americas. Before that, Melisa held roles at Silicon Valley Bank, where she helped manage a portfolio of leading technology companies, and at Goldman Sachs, where she served as a Corporate Treasury Analyst focused on liquidity and risk management.

Melisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She also serves as a Board Member of First Gen Scholars and as a member of the Programming Committee of the Women in Institutional Investments Network.
