Senior Director, Donor Services and Philanthropy Operations

As Senior Director of Donor Services and Philanthropy Operations, Bridget Strickland is responsible for ensuring a high-quality donor experience, optimizing philanthropic processes, and enhancing the systems and practices that support donors and effective, community-centered giving. In her role, Bridget aligns people and strategy to improve the donor journey, facilitate giving to SDF, and amplify donor’s grantmaking to the community.

Bridget previously served at SDF in mitigation and nonprofit fund management, where she helped establish statewide models for collaborative mitigation fund management, and served advancing fundraising and grantmaking practices within the San Diego Women’s Foundation, an SDF supporting organization.

Bridget is a seasoned philanthropy and nonprofit leader with more than two decades of experience advancing donor engagement, fund management, and strategic fundraising across San Diego’s nonprofit sector most recently as Director of Giving and Partnerships at San Diego Habitat for Humanity. Bridget is known for her strategic mindset, deep relationship-building expertise, and commitment to strengthening the philanthropic ecosystem to create lasting impact across the region.

She holds a B.A. from University of California, San Diego, along with certificates in Nonprofit Management and Affordable Housing Leadership.
