San Diego Foundation (SDF) has officially opened registration for the 2025 San Diego Fundraising Conference Presented by PNC Bank. The two-day event, designed specifically for nonprofit professionals, will take place September 18–19, 2025, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel.
“This year, we’re going bigger and better than ever before,” shared Mark Stuart, President & CEO of SDF. “We’re bringing together our country’s top fundraising experts, best-selling authors and like-minded development professionals who care about making an impact for their communities.”
Now in its third year, the San Diego Fundraising Conference offers critical professional development to help nonprofit organizations sustain and grow their revenue and capacity, essential tools for navigating today’s unpredictable environment.
Early bird registration for San Diego nonprofit professionals is available for $279 through May 31, 2025. After that, registration will be $349 until the event sells out or until August 30, 2025. (And with the event selling out quickly in previous years, early registration is highly recommended!)
Registration includes:
- Access to dozens of learning sessions led by fundraising experts
- Lunch and coffee both days
- A networking happy hour on day one
- A reusable tote bag, a copy of “The Generosity Crisis,” and a water bottle
Thanks to the support of generous sponsors, registration costs are kept lower than the conference’s fair market value, making this an affordable investment in professional growth.
Breaking Barriers, Building Futures
The 2025 conference theme, “Breaking Barriers, Building Futures,” highlights the opportunity for nonprofit fundraisers to gain essential skills and insights to tackle the challenges of an evolving philanthropic landscape.
One of the event’s featured keynote speakers is Nathan Chappell, nationally bestselling co-author of “The Generosity Crisis“.
Chappell is a renowned thought leader, AI inventor and nonprofit executive whose career spans more than 20 years, leading major fundraising efforts and shaping the future of philanthropy through his award-winning book and podcast.
The two-day event is also expanding its programming. Thanks to an education partnership with the National University Fundraising Academy, the event will feature a dedicated track for early-career fundraising professionals.
This program is designed to build foundational skills, create meaningful networking opportunities, and equip the next generation of nonprofit leaders with practical strategies to amplify their organizations’ impact.
