Mobilizing Capital for Community-Centered Housing
San Diego Foundation (SDF) is partnering with SANDAG to deploy $14 million in California REAP 2.0 funds to expand housing access and advance climate goals.
By investing in local developments that serve working families, seniors, veterans and underserved communities, SDF is helping more San Diegans afford to live where they work, while building a more resilient future.
Funding Diverse Housing Projects
Ten developments were selected through a competitive process to create 966 affordable homes countywide.
Aligning Housing with Climate Action
Projects include energy-efficient design, transit access and green infrastructure.
Supporting Underserved Populations
Housing units serve San Diegans, including veterans, refugees, women, families, people with disabilities and older adults.
Expanding Housing Access
SDF backs models that prevent displacement and foster long-term affordability.
