Thirteen nonprofit grantees supported Child Tax Credit outreach and application assistance in more than 36 different languages and dialects to more than 16,000 local, under-resourced families that are not required to file a tax return. Funding was provided by the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the EITC Funders Network.
Our Child Tax Credit efforts helped to:

Prevent Child Poverty
Helping temporarily lift families out of poverty by providing direct assistance, which impacts their quality of life

Reduce Stress
Reducing finance-related stressors, such as housing and food insecurity, leads to improved health outcomes

Support the Local Economy
National data shows direct payments were used for regular purchases, such as food and clothing
