Manager, Compliance & Finance (Government Climate Projects)

Miriam joined the SDF team in March 2025 as the Compliance and Finance Manager for the Rooted in Comunidad Cultivating Equity (RICCE) project. She brings experience in environmentally focused initiatives and federal and state grants, including prior work with the Environmental Department at the Pala Band of Mission Indians in Pala, California, as well as volunteer work with Native tribes throughout San Diego County.

Miriam’s professional background also includes supporting community programs, housing initiatives, and compliance monitoring for the City of San Marcos and the San Diego Housing Commission. Committed to building a better San Diego, she is passionate about contributing to projects that strengthen culturally rich and diverse communities and improve the quality of life for residents throughout San Diego County.
