Danielle Moore is an attorney, public servant, and civic leader whose career has been defined by a commitment to justice, public service, and expanding opportunity for others. As the founder of the Law Office of Danielle Moore, she represents clients in family law and select civil matters. Before entering private practice, Danielle served as a Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County, prosecuting felony and misdemeanor cases, and previously practiced corporate and renewable energy law, advising clients on complex commercial transactions.
Danielle serves as a Commissioner for the Port of San Diego, where she chaired the Board of Port Commissioners in 2025. She has also served on the board of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation and The New Children's Museum. Throughout her public service, Danielle has championed initiatives that expand economic opportunity, strengthen regional collaboration, advance environmental stewardship, and create pathways for educational and workforce success.
Beyond her legal practice and public service, Danielle is deeply engaged in the civic life of San Diego. She held leadership roles with numerous nonprofit, educational, and professional organizations dedicated to advancing equity, education, and economic mobility. She is a frequent speaker on leadership, public policy, and civic engagement and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of lawyers and public servants.
Away from her professional responsibilities, Danielle enjoys writing poetry, experiencing San Diego through the eyes of her daughter, and continually discovering new reasons to love the region she is proud to serve.
