November 10, 2014 – San Diego, CA – 4SRanch-Del Sur Community Foundation (4SCF), an affiliate of The San Diego Foundation, today announced nonprofit organizations serving 4SRanch-Del Sur are invited to apply for the 2015-2016 grant cycle with the theme “The Great Outdoors.”

4SCF will accept applications for grants up to $7,000 that propose creative projects promoting rich natural resources and open spaces throughout 4SRanch-Del Sur. During this grant cycle, 4SCF will provide grants that support programs or projects that foster healthy lifestyles; connect, protect, or increase access to nature for people of all ages and abilities; and improve the lives of those who live, work and play within the geographic boundaries of the greater 4SRanch-Del Sur area.

The deadline to submit completed applications is 5pm (PST) on Monday, December 22, 2014. A Grant Seekers Forum will be held on Monday, November 17 to assist nonprofit applicants. For grant guideline questions, contact Trudy Armstrong attrudy@sdfoundation.org or (619) 764-8602.
