Housing Impact Fund
Launched with the County of San Diego in April 2022, SDF seeded the Housing Impact Fund with $10 million, one of its largest grants to date. The goal of the new fund is to invest in the construction of 10,000 units in affordable housing for San Diego’s low- and middle-income families.

Bridgedeck Affordable Housing Project
In July 2021, the Foundation invested $1 million in a $65 million development from Bridgedeck Partners LLC that will provide 190 units of rental housing for very low and low-income individuals and families earning between 50% and 60% of area median income (AMI). Once completed, this project – which includes several community partners – will provide stable, affordable housing and increased access and resources for San Diegans facing barriers to realizing full and healthy lives.
