As Director of Charitable Giving, Cami will increase philanthropy across the region by working with new donors who wish to make an impact in the San Diego community. She will help San Diegans and corporations personalize their giving through donor advised funds or by joining existing funds at The San Diego Foundation.

Currently, Mattson serves on the advisory council for President Haynes of California State University San Marcos, serves as chairman of the board for Mission Edge and on the boards of San Diego Habitat for Humanity and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego.

Most recently, Mattson served as director of community relations for Cox Communications California. In her role, Mattson was responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s community relations efforts, including employee volunteerism, the Cox Cares Foundation and its corporate giving in San Diego, Orange County, Palos Verdes and Santa Barbara. Mattson previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the San Diego North Convention and Visitors Bureau for 21 years.

Mattson earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations/communications from Brigham Young University.
