Assessment Findings to Serve as Guide to Fire Relief Funders

The release of the update to the 2007 Community Needs Assessment Report includes several calls to action for concerned community members to assist in the recovery efforts. One of the ways you can help is to consider how your time and money could go toward assisting those who need it most. The After-The-Fires Community Needs Assessment Update

We are pleased to release the October 2007 Community Needs Assessment Update. Nearly one year after one of San Diego’s most devastating natural disasters, the needs and priorities of those impacted by the fires have evolved. The San Diego Foundation and its Regional Disaster Fund felt it imperative to update the assessment so that on-going recovery work can be as effective as possible.

Significant knowledge has been gained from the assessment process. For example:

less than 100 have been rebuilt?
