ElderHelp’s Employed Family Caregiver Support social enterprise program intends to address the rising and critical needs of employed family caregivers and the corresponding impact on local corporate productivity. The social enterprise aims to create a value-based service that promotes the well-being of employees and their aging loved ones while also saving local corporations money. Goal: launch!

TERI
TERI is changing the way the world views and helps children and adults touched by special needs through their micro-greens social enterprise, which provides vocational opportunities for individuals with autism. TERI delivers 170+ packages of micro-greens per week to 18 local San Diego restaurants. Goal: scale up!

ARTS
ARTS aims to harness the proven potential of its mural painting program by re-envisioning it as a social enterprise that can support and sustain ARTS’ Creative Youth Development programs, ultimately helping young people realize their full potential through the arts and creativity. Goal: scale up!

Second Chance
The Second Chance Youth Garden is a six-week job training program for young people ages 14-21. Our program combines classroom and experiential learning to increase youth awareness of urban agriculture and food justice, and help move them towards successful high school graduation or employment.  The Youth Garden, along with all Second Chance programs, disrupts the cycles of incarceration and poverty by helping people find their way to self-sufficiency. Goal: sustain/scale up!

Casa Familiar
Casa Familiar’s vision is to build a commercial kitchen incubator in San Ysidro to support small business development. Casa Familiar will also include a teaching kitchen focused on healthy food education for the community. Goal: launch!

Outdoor Outreach
Outdoor Outreach aspires to launch an outdoor leadership camp that creates life-changing opportunities and jobs in communities where unemployment rates for young adults hover around 40%. In addition to employment opportunities, youth will gain access to leadership development, job training, and critical life building skills. Goal: launch!

Outside the Lens
Outside the Lens uses photography and digital media to empower youth to create change within themselves, their communities, and the world. The Photos for a Purpose social enterprise program engages student and professional photographers together to provide memorable photography-based team building experiences and professional, unique, and brand-aligned headshots for employees, with 100% of proceeds supporting Outside the Lens’ arts integration outreach in Title I schools. Goal: launch!

Multicultural Health Foundation
Multicultural Health Foundation’s Taking Control for Life project replicates its proven strategies for preventing heart attacks and strokes associated with uncontrolled high blood pressure in clinics and community organizations serving multicultural and immigrant neighborhoods. Goal: scale up!
