Grants Available for Nonprofits Serving Oceanside

November 10, 2014 – Oceanside, CA – Oceanside Charitable Foundation (OCF), an affiliate of The San Diego Foundation, announced nonprofit organizations serving Oceanside are invited to apply for the 2015-2016 grant cycle with the theme “The Great Outdoors.”

The charitable foundation will accept applications for grants that support health and human services projects that foster healthy lifestyles, as well as connect, protect, or increase access to the outdoors for people of all ages and abilities in Oceanside. This grant cycle, OCF will provide grants at five levels of funding: $5,000; $10,000; $15,000; $20,000, and $25,000.

The LOI is the first step in a two-step application process. ECF will evaluate all LOI submissions and qualify those that meet the program and eligibility criteria. Organizations that are short-listed through the LOI process will be invited to submit a full application. The funding range is $10,000 to $30,000.

The deadline to submit completed applications is 5:00 p.m. (PST) on Monday, December 8, 2014. A Grant Seekers Forum will be held on Wednesday, November 12 to assist nonprofit applicants. For questions about grant guidelines, contact An Lu atanl@sdfoundation.org or (619) 764-8602.
