Katie Gomez

Katie conceptualizes, plans and executes events that increase community engagement and donor stewardship throughout San Diego. She is also responsible for managing the project workflow across departments at The Foundation to increase efficiency within the organization.

Previously, Katie worked in development at Family Health Centers of San Diego, overseeing fundraising and special events. Prior to that, she worked for Mountain Health & Community Services Inc. as the Marketing & Events Coordinator and as a Park Attendant for the County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation.

Katie earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Systems Management from San Diego State University.
