Multi-Sensory Math Kits

A grant of $535.00 provided one complete computation set that included kits for number concepts, addition, subtraction, sequence counting, multiplication and division.

This math program was successful with English language learners as well as English speaking students in understanding basic math concepts. The grant purchased multi-sensory math kits whereby basic math concepts were simplified so that students could understand number relationships and apply them to addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Through a multi-sensory approach of seeing, saying, hearing, and touching, students' math skills were enhanced into higher-level learning.
