Community Leader Carol Chang Installed as President of The San Diego Women’s Foundation The San Diego Women’s Foundation welcomes new President Carol Chang to head its Board of Directors for 2007/2008. The installation occurred at the SDWF’s annual celebration June 5 at the Salk Institute. Six new community partners were there to receive $239,000 to fund programs promoting nutritional access in the San Diego community. More than 230 SDWF members and guests attended to mark the foundation’s sixth year and $1.3 million awarded to date toward an improved community. Each of these organizations met this year’s appeal for promoting community nutrition and access to healthy food to vulnerable populations in a meaningful, sustainable and significant way.
