Fund Descriptions

Donor Advised
These are endowment or non-endowment funds in which the donor retains the right to "advise" or "recommend" to the Board of Governors specific grant distributions to qualified non-profit organizations.

Agency
These are endowment or non-endowment funds established by a nonprofit organization to support its operations.

Community Endowment
These are endowment funds wherein distributable earnings are granted for charitable purposes at the discretion of the Board of Governors.

Designated
These are endowment funds wherein distributable earnings are designated to a specific nonprofit organization(s).

Field of Interest
These are endowment funds wherein distributable earnings are granted in specified areas of philanthropic interest (i.e. health & human services, medical or scientific research, education, arts & culture).

Scholarship
These are endowment or non-endowment funds used to provide scholarships. The donor may retain the right to advise, create an external committee or utilize The Foundation's Scholarship Selection Committee.
