How The San Diego Foundation Will Continue to Build Social Capital for the Future

• Build on existing Civil Society programs
• Increase dialogue/conversations on the issue of Social Capital in San Diego's communities
• Form a strategic volunteer committee of specialists to strengthen the future of the Civil Society Program
• Continue to review the challenges and opportunities in Social Capital
• Continue to invest philanthropic dollars to build Social Capital through:
  • Community leadership
  • Community philanthropy
  • Neighbor-to-neighbor community building through dialogue and problem solving
  • Building of an inclusive community (immigrants/refugees, youth, seniors, faith-based, etc.)
  • Civic participation by all communities
