The San Diego Foundation's Board of Governors Approves 155 Grants to San Diego County

At the Board Meeting in September, The San Diego Foundation's Board of Governors approved 155 grant recommendations from Donor Advised funds, a total amount of $1,038,571, to a number of organizations in San Diego County.

These grants will serve a variety of purposes in several areas, including arts and culture, health and human services, employment and economic development, and education. The San Diego Foundation's purpose is to improve the quality of life in all of San Diego's communities by promoting and increasing responsible and effective philanthropy.

Founded in 1975, The San Diego Foundation is the largest charitable foundation in San Diego, maintaining more than $400 million in assets.
