Grant Guidelines
Based upon the results of the Community Needs Assessment Report, the San Diego Regional Disaster Fund Board and staff will be working proactively with partner nonprofit organizations to fund
programs and services that meet identified needs and priorities.
Following best practices in disaster philanthropy, the San Diego Regional Disaster Fund
Board will seek out agencies/organizations which have the capacity to meet one or more of
the needs identified in the Community Needs Assessment Report. Foundation staff will work closely with potential grantees to support the development of responsive proposals that will be submitted to the Regional Disaster Board for review and approval.
