What is the timeline for the Spring 2008 Community Impact Grants Program?

What is the application timeline?
The deadline for application submission is Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 5:00 pm. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

How do we apply for a Community Impact Grant?
The applicant submits a proposal following the program specific guidelines and application. Proposals may only be submitted online. Hard copy proposals will not be accepted.

Who is eligible to apply for funding?
To be eligible for a grant from The San Diego Foundation, organizations must be located in and providing services in San Diego County. The organizations must have a 501 (c) (3) IRS tax exempt status. An organization may serve as a fiscal sponsor for a charitable organization that does not have a 501 (c) (3) status if a cooperative relationship between the two can clearly be demonstrated. The fiscal sponsor must be willing to administer the grant if awarded.

Each organization may submit only one proposal per grants program but may submit to multiple programs at The Foundation, as long as each proposal is for a different project. The exception is that an organization may submit multiple proposals to the Blasker Program. If a project is undertaken as part of a partnership with other organizations, no more than one organization may submit a proposal for that project. If more than one proposal is submitted for the same project, all applications will become ineligible. Finally, grantees who have previously received a grant award can apply.
