The Foundation continues to gain momentum on the Regional Vision Initiative, a multi-year, multi-phase endeavor. Launched by the Civil Society Working Group and guided by a special committee of the Board of Governors, Regional Vision will lead to the creation of a 50-100 year strategic vision and subsequent action plan for the greater San Diego region, encompassing the shared values and priorities of all its residents.
Most recently, local leaders and members of the community were engaged for online and in-person survey sessions. More than 120 participated in just two days, with the data gathered during these sessions contributing to a values study that will determine regional priorities.
