Five Community Leaders Elected to The San Diego Foundation Board of Governors

July 29, 2009 - The San Diego Foundation is pleased to announce its newest community leaders elected to the Board of Governors:
- Robert C. Dynes, former President of the University of California system and former chancellor at UCSD.
- Paul Eichen, entrepreneur and founder of Proxima and the Rokenbok Toy Company; chairman of the Orca Fund at The San Diego Foundation.
- Connie L. Matsui, retired executive vice president at Biogen Idec. Inc., former national president and board chair of the Girl Scouts of the USA.
- Garry Ridge, president and chief executive officer of the WD-40 Company.
- Nancy A. Spector, attorney, certified specialist in the areas of estate planning, probate, trust administration, special needs trusts, guardianships and conservatorships.
The San Diego Foundation gratefully acknowledges its outgoing board members: Darcy Bingham, David Bejarano, Bruce Blakley, and Denise Lew.
The San Diego Foundation's Board of Governors is composed of 30 experienced volunteer community leaders. Board members make up a diverse spectrum of professional backgrounds and charitable activities.
