Transfer of Wealth Study Released by The San Diego Foundation Paints an Optimistic Picture for Charitable Giving Over the Next 25 Years

May 20, 2009 – During this time of economic uncertainty and high anxiety, The San Diego Foundation is pleased to provide positive news about the future of philanthropy through the release ofOur Region’s Future Funding: The Transfer of Wealth in San Diego County Over the Next 25 Years. The study was conducted by the RUPRI Center for Rural Entrepreneurship, which has provided similar analyses throughout the country. Additional information and review was provided by the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG).
