The San Diego Foundation is pleased to provide two calculators for your use:
Donor Direct is designed for prospective donors who would like to understand more about various planned giving vehicles and to quickly calculate approximate charitable deductions.
An easy to read report provides a summary of the calculation along with a description of the financial and tax benefits of the gift.
Compliance NOW is a more advanced calculator that is designed to help gift planning advisors calculate the exact amount of a charitable contribution deduction.
When a donor claims a charitable contribution deduction, the donor is required to show the IRS the steps used in the calculation. Compliance NOW does this by providing a detailed report that is suitable for inclusion with a tax return.
