Purpose and Vision
Community leaders throughout Oceanside are partnering with The San Diego Foundation to create and sustain a local foundation to serve the community of Oceanside.
Our Purpose
- Meet emerging needs by encouraging and increasing responsible and effective philanthropy by and for the benefit of all who live, work and play in Oceanside
- Build an Oceanside community endowment
- Provide funding annually to Oceanside organizations and causes
- Give Oceanside community members a vehicle for legacy planning and gifts that will benefit Oceanside now and forever
Our Long Term Goals
- By 2015 Endow Oceanside with a $5 million endowment that will benefit the community now and forever
- By 2015 provide at least $250,000 per year to benefit organizations and individuals in Oceanside

- More than $80,000 granted to Oceanside nonprofit organizations
