Nonprofits are an essential part of San Diego. Organizations cater to the ever-changing and unique needs of our community. The San Diego Foundation values our nonprofit sector, and the work of nonprofits to enhance San Diego. We understand that a thriving nonprofit sector is important to the success of San Diego.
The goal of the Nonprofit Partnerships is to work to enhance the capacity of nonprofits and help local nonprofits to more effectively carry out their mission to better serve San Diego. Since the launch of OSP in 2001, the program has continued to strive to increase the awareness and support of nonprofit’s work to assist our community.
The program’s vision is that San Diego’s nonprofits are world-class efficient and effective organizations, serving the changing needs of our community. To achieve that vision, we support nationally-recognized professional development for nonprofit leaders, provide resources for local nonprofits to develop capacity and fundraising, and endeavor to increase awareness of nonprofits by connecting donors to nonprofits.
